STEWARDS REPORT EXTRACT :Trainer Mr K Nipperess was fined $50 under LR 35(2) for failing to declare M Wood (a) as the rider of Kid In Town by the prescribed time. 

Ms S Harden representing Trainer Mr B Hill was fined $50 under AR 140A for presenting Le Tour De France in the mounting yard without blinkers, which are a part of the gelding’s approved gear. 

When the pace steadied near the 800m Geneva Gold was checked to avoid the heels of Miss Caulfield. 

Rounding the 700m turn Sweetrocking hung out across the heels of Our Rubyjean and was checked. 

Take Cover was held up and unable to obtain clear running until after the 150m. 

A post race veterinary examination of Dekarnage which raced wide found the gelding to be lame in its off fore leg. Trainer Mr K Hickmott was advised that he must submit a veterinary clearance for Dekarnage prior to the gelding racing again.

Rounding the 700m turn Pantomime Peggy was checked when it shifted in away from Desert Sessions and made contact with the running rail. 

P Schmidt (a) in the presence of Trainer Mr T Whittington deputising as her master was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR 137(a) in that after the 200m she allowed her mount Count Fergus to shift outwards when insufficiently clear of Desert Sessions which was checked and lost its running. P Schmidt’s (a) licence to ride in races was suspended for a period to commence on Monday 21st February 2011 (after the completion of a suspension incurred at the Sunshine Coast Race Meeting on Friday 4th February 2011) and to expire on Saturday 26th February 2011 on which day she may ride.
