There will be hundreds upon hundreds of stories in newspapers, magazines, websites and on television and radio this week on the passing of Stathi Katsidis.
As a racing photographer I did not get much of chance to chat with Stathi  usually only a brief "G'Day Stathi" at the start of the day or a quick "Good onya mate" as he walked past me, back to the jockey's room after riding yet another winner. So I will pay my tribute to him as the only way I know how, through the lens of the camera. The opposite tribute to Stathi is a collection of photographs over the past 12 months.
